Haiku of the Day: The UN
Exciting news for people who will turn up to celebrate the opening of an envelope. The 60th anniversary of the implementation of the UN charter is today. So, like Miss Congeneality, today's haiku is all about World Peace.
World peace, where art thou?
Is that you under my couch?
Nope. It's Osama.
For those who are interested, Australias longest serving (former) Foreign Affairs leader Gareth Evans had a good article in The Age. Evans is also now the president of an interesting little epystemic community known as the International Crisis Group. They spew some interesting stuff as well!
