Let The Words Flow Like A River...
The humble haiku. Simple, elegant, crafted, artistic, fun and probably a little bit silly. "Poetry for Dummies" perhaps? Given its historical roots, probably not. I throughly recommend reading through the Wikipedia archive on this humble mastery of words so you too can enjoy that feeling of linking syllables. (The link is also available on the links bar to your right).
For those who are too lazy, here's Haiku in a nutshell:
1. Use of three lines written in five-seven-five English syllables;
2. Use of three (or fewer) lines of no more than 17 syllables in total;
3. Use of the "one deep breath" rule: the reader should be able to read the haiku aloud without taking a second breath.
And the coup d'etat bit? It rhymed. Oh, and politics is interesting. So feel free to write about politics, and maybe pen a haiku for your thoughts of the day. There will no doubt be daily topics for you to contribute to as well, so get those fingers limbered up....

Throw him in a stove

Hey Skybellzz! All it takes is two secs of your time. I'm going to try and post a new topic every day or so for you to try and create something funny/clever/boring about. Just something interactive and quick...I thought... :D
