Haiku (俳句) is one of the most important modes of Japanese poetry (a late 19th century revision by Masaoka Shiki of the old hokku), whilst a coup d'état (pronounced /ku de 'ta/), or simply a coup, is the sudden overthrow of a government, usually done by a small group that just replaces the top power figures. Welcome to revolutionary haiku. Please feel free to resist and wield words as your weapons.
